Our story began in 2014 when JR and Melissa Barroso decided to bring their passion for exceptional HVAC service to the Texas Hill Country after selling their successful HVAC company in Cypress, TX. As proud residents of Kerr County, we built our business on a foundation of integrity, honesty, and the belief that our neighbors deserve nothing but the best.

Meet Our Team

JR

JR has over 30 years experience in the HVAC industry. His career started as a helper, then installer, Lead installer, Service Technician, and now he is the owner and Operations Lead for Kerr County A/C & Heating Services. JR ran a HVAC company in Houston, TX for 8 years prior to moving to the Texas Hill Country and starting Kerr County A/C & Heating in 2014.

Melissa

Melissa

Melissa has over 25 years in marketing communications, formerly at HP, Inc. where she led a team of global marketers creating marketing materials for the Consumer PC business. She has co-operated an HVAC company with JR for over 17 years, spending nights and weekends processing invoices and providing marketing and administrative services. She joined Kerr County A/C & Heating in a full-time capacity in February 2023.

Kyle

Kyle is a Lead Installer and Service Technician with 7 years experience in the HVAC industry. Kyle joined the family business as a high school intern 7 years ago at the same age his dad "JR" started in the industry. Kyle has been trained by his father, working side-by-side all the way. Kyle now leads one of our Installation teams performing premium new system installations and retrofits. Kyle also has a strong background in service, repairs, maintenance and diagnostics.

Keyana is the voice of Kerr County A/C & Heating. She manages customer service for the company, as well as scheduling, dispatching, and administrative services.

Devon is a HVAC Installer with over 3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry.

Alex is a Service Technician with 6 years of HVAC experience under his belt. Originally from Florida, Alex spent most of his life in San Antonio before moving to Kerrville 4 years ago.

Sean is a HVAC Installer with close to 1 year experience in the HVAC industry.

Clint

Clint is a HVAC Design Manager with over 28 years' experience in HVAC and Refrigeration, and 14 years as an HVAC business owner himself. Clint and his family recently moved back to Texas from Colorado. Welcome back Clint!

Amanda

Amanda assists Keyana with customer service, dispatch, scheduling and more! While new to the HVAC industry, she has two decades of experience spanning customer service, administration, and marketing.

Stephanie

Stephanie

Stephanie assists Melissa with social media and email marketing. With 4+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, and virtual support, Stephanie has a talent for turning brand messages into scroll-stopping content. She brings sharp, creative instincts and a deep understanding of what works online.
