Kerr County A/C & Heating Services is a premier air conditioning and heating repair and replacement company providing residential and commercial service in Kerrville, Center Point, Comfort, Ingram, Hunt, Harper, Mountain Home, and surrounding areas. We service all makes and models of air conditioning and heating equipment and provide new equipment installation.
After moving from Houston and selling their HVAC company in Cypress, TX, In 2014 JR and Melissa Barroso started Kerr County AC and Heating Services in the Texas Hill Country. As fellow residents of Kerr County, the reputation of our company is extremely important to us. We operate with strong integrity and honesty and understand our neighbors expect nothing less.
We strive to bring a layer of quality and excellence to everything we do – from the staff in the office providing customer service to our technicians in the field.
Our service technicians have over 30 years of experience in the HVAC field and will perform a thorough inspection of your cooling and heating equipment and recommendations on how to maximize your efficiency and extend your equipment life.

Meet Our Team
JR
JR has over 30 years experience in the HVAC industry. His career started as a helper, then installer, Lead installer, Service Technician, and now he is the owner and Operations Lead for Kerr County A/C & Heating Services. JR ran a HVAC company in Houston, TX for 8 years prior to moving to the Texas Hill Country and starting Kerr County A/C & Heating in 2014.
Melissa
Melissa has over 25 years in marketing communications, formerly at HP, Inc. where she led a team of global marketers creating marketing materials for the Consumer PC business. She has co-operated an HVAC company with JR for over 17 years, spending nights and weekends processing invoices and providing marketing and administrative services. She joined Kerr County A/C & Heating in a full-time capacity in February 2023.
Kyle
Kyle is a Lead Installer and Service Technician with 5 years experience in the HVAC industry.

Keyana
Keyana is the voice of Kerr County A/C & Heating. She manages customer service for the company, as well as scheduling, dispatching, and administrative services.
Ryan
Ryan is a Senior HVAC Technician with over 20 years experience in the HVAC industry and just celebrated 3 years with Kerr County A/C & Heating. He is also probably the nicest guy you'll ever meet!
Devon
Devon is a HVAC Installer with over 2 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
Richard
Richard is our HVAC Design Consultant. He has worked in the HVAC industry as an Estimator for over 7 years and brings a wealth of experience to our company. Richard is also an avid golfer, and with his wife Paige has a heck of a game! Look for him on the golf course!
Mike
Mike is a Lead Installer with 25 years experience in the HVAC industry. Mike is the newest member of our team, and we're excited to have him!
Alex
Alex is a Service Technician with 6 years of HVAC experience under his belt. Originally from Florida, Alex spent most of his life in San Antonio before moving to Kerrville 4 years ago.
